Whiplash symptoms can be deceiving. It is quite common for there to be no discomfort immediately after an accident. When the vertebrae are misaligned after a jolt, it may take some time for the irritation of the nerves caused by the misalignment to become severe enough to produce symptoms. These include headaches, blurred vision, neck stiffness or pain or tingling in the arms and shoulders. For these reasons, it is vitally important to visit a Chiropractor immediately after an injury to the neck, no matter how slight. This will help you avoid serious neck problems later.
